Pokémon GO developer Niantic have announced that the casino slot online halo69 game will no longer be supported on devices that still run on the Android 6 operating system.
The game’s latest update, Version 241, requires users running Android 6 “Marshmellow” on their devices to update their current operating system to continue playing the online slot casino game.
Apple owners and Android 7 “Nougat” users, meanwhile, are not affected by the new update.
Niantic said on their update page that they are currently focusing on newer operating systems and technologies. By ending support on Android 6, Niantic is able to streamline the development process and potentially tap into improved software and hardware.
Android 6 “Marshmellow” was released in 2015, and since then, the operating system has received many improvements and updates. Niantic’s move may also have been motivated by the more secure playing casino slot online environment made possible by frequent security patches.
Meanwhile, Pokémon GO recently collaborated with its trading card casino slot online game, Pokémon TCG to bring an exciting collaboration between the two distinct Pokémon games.
Pokémon GO is currently available on iOS and Android running on Android 7 and above.
